October 16, 14:20 (Rapla)
- I now know real Ukrainians who are living in places that are under bombardment. I can’t unknow them and I can’t ignore what is happening to them. In addition to knowing, I am in a place to do something to help. How can I not do that?
- By virtue of my missionary calling, I represent both the places that I connect and also the space between them. These connections are both priviledge and responsibility. It’s my responsibility to get information into the hands of others who can help.
- The time to help is not when the danger has passed but when the opportunity arises.
- Following the example of Christ means giving up what security I have in order to enter into whatever disorder I am given the opportunity to inhabit.
- Ukraine today could very well be Estonia tomorrow.
Thanks, Matt. This is really concise and helpful to us even back in Spokane.
