Tomorrow: worship in Kohila, forest foraging, and traditional smoke sauna. Stay tuned!

5 takeaways from our attempt to hitch a ride into 5 takeaways from our attempt to hitch a ride into Yosemite during peak hours: 1. Americans seem much more suspicious than they were 25 years ago. I was sure this would have worked sooner. 2. Thank God for European tourists (travelling team of Spanish soccer refs) who made room for us by sitting on laps. My how the tables have tourned. 3. A Kazakstani couple borrowed our sign after being turned back for not having a reservation. Seems like the park needs to make this new policy more widely known! 4. My kids nixed the phrase "Yosemite or bust" because no one would know what I meant. Such cultured world travellers! [HEAVY IRONY!] 5. The park ranger eventually busted us for soliciting. Had I known that was the problem, I would have shown a little more leg! 🤣

This was the place where our team of Estonian yout This was the place where our team of Estonian youth helped rescue a boy who got swept over the falls on 4th of July weekend in 2003. Water is higher now and the debris below the falls much more dangerous. But we had a good time swimming and remembering that crazy day. #YouthMissionExchange #BlueLippedBoys #NoSinkTarvo
